What is Yogahormonal Hormonal Yoga for women?

YogaHormonal hormonal yoga is a comprehensive programme for women, built on the “Health Triangle”, which can help restore and maintain natural hormone levels where the hormonal system is out of balance.

What is the "Health Triangle"?

Every function, every activity of the body, every system and every organ should be considered from the standpoint of the health triangle:

Structure — Biochemistry — Emotions

In the case of the endocrine glands, we need to establish whether the organ is in place, whether blood is reaching it, and whether the blood vessels are compressed.
From a biochemical standpoint we need to know whether all the elements required for hormone production are being supplied, and whether there is intoxication by unwanted substances.
At the level of emotion we need to understand that we all carry a certain emotional experience. And that is not only the experience we have lived through from birth to this moment, but also our experience in the womb and the accumulated experience of our ancestors: genetics, epigenetics, cellular memory, mitochondria, and mitochondrial DNA — the “maternal” DNA in which the experience of the family line and of past incarnations is stored.

Are there any particular indications for practising Yogahormonal hormonal yoga?

Hormonal yoga can resolve health problems in women with disorders of the hormonal system (menstrual cycle disruption, PCOS, amenorrhoea (including after taking contraceptives), endometriosis, hypothyroidism, menopausal disorders, disrupted sleep and eating cycles), and also to anyone who wants to maintain natural hormone levels, move through the years beautifully and gracefully, and keep their energy high.

What other benefits can Hormonal yoga classes give me?

Yogahormonal hormonal yoga for women guarantees a fine appearance throughout your life, eases the discomfort of PMS, calms an agitated mind and emotions, and makes entering menopause gentler and less painful.
Hormonal yoga also helps relieve many women’s conditions.
General psycho-emotional wellbeing improves.
Immunity, sleep and the body’s overall tone are strengthened.

Which techniques are used during the practice?

Through specially selected asanas and kriyas, hormone levels begin to rise where there is hypofunction, or fall where there is hyperfunction. We work not only with special asanas and intensive breathing (bhastrika pranayama, ujjayi), but also with body locks (mudras and bandhas), relaxation technique (yoga nidra), visualisation and healing meditation.

How often do I need to practise?

Daily practice (or at least 3–4 times a week) helps for women always look graceful and toned; they reshape the figure and make the muscles firmer and stronger, which is only natural in any sport.

Are there any fitness requirements for starting classes?

Even those who have never trained in a gym will be able to take this up without difficulty. Yoga for hormonal balance is built on performing a particular set of asanas. You need to learn to breathe correctly and master a few exercises for relaxing and contracting the muscles. By combining the exercises and making them gradually more demanding, you can achieve results quickly.

Are there any contraindications to practising hormonal yoga?

Contraindications to the practice are:

  • mental illness,
  • acute diseases of the internal organs,
  • stage 2–3 hypertension,
  • malignant tumours,
  • pregnancy beyond 3 months,
  • and also in cases where your wellbeing worsens after yoga
practice. In that case you should
    consult a doctor.
