There is a good reason the female body is often compared to a guitar, whose seven strings can be matched to the endocrine glands — from the first, lowest in vibration, to the last, vibrating at the highest frequencies.
We begin playing the guitar by tuning it, using a tuning fork. In the YogaHormonal method that tuning fork is our “status quo”, our state of optimal health (physical and psychological).
Tuning the strings begins with the first and works upwards. Then we check how each string sounds in relation to the others.
And in exactly the same way, in the YogaHormonal method we tune each gland individually and in relation to the others, using combinations of asanas and particular types of breathing, visualisation and attention to the body’s response — thereby establishing communication between the glands.

In modern society, where women sometimes have to take on tasks not entirely natural to them, communication between the glands is often disrupted. For example, the adrenal glands may be depleted, leaving no “raw material” for producing sex hormones — one of many ways chaos can develop in our system.
Fortunately, all these problems can be resolved with YogaHormonal hormonal yoga, which is built on the health triangle of “structure — biochemistry — emotions”. It normalises the endocrine system and restores and maintains optimal hormone levels in the body by reactivating their production naturally.

Hormonal yoga can resolve health problems in women with disorders of the hormonal system (menstrual cycle disruption, PCOS, amenorrhoea (including after taking contraceptives), endometriosis, hypothyroidism, menopausal disorders, disrupted sleep and eating cycles), and also to anyone who wants to maintain natural hormone levels, move through the years beautifully and gracefully, and keep their energy high.
And when all the strings of our body, all the glands, sound each on its own note, then the melody of our body — the one that belongs to us alone — is revealed, and only then can we sound out in this beautiful choir of all Creation.
