Healthy hormones mean shining eyes, clear skin, beautiful hair and a wonderful mood. In this article we explain how to maintain them yourself.
Who do you most often meet in a yoga class — men or women? The answer is obvious: there are far more women in colourful leggings in yoga centres. But here is the paradox: yoga is more than 2,000 years old, and in India it was once practised only by male ascetics, to prepare body and mind to step off the wheel of rebirth.

When women took up yoga they made a breakthrough. They almost entirely transformed this purely male practice, bringing emotion and feeling into it and filling it with what belongs to female nature alone.
For instance, asanas and breathing came to be used not only to conserve the body’s energy reserves but as a means of rejuvenation.
YogaHormonal for preserving youth, beauty and radiance
Lie on your back and bend your left leg at the knee, raise your head and bring your nose as close to your kneecap as you can. Breathe intensively for 1 minute. Take a deep breath in and, on the exhale, lower your head to the mat. At the same time, observe the stream of energy, or prana, rising into the upper body and filling every cell of your face with light and radiance. Picture yourself in your most beautiful form. Repeat the asana with the right leg.

Sit in Sukhasana. Raise your arms above your head and bring your palms together. Breathe intensively for 1–2 minutes. Breathe in and, on the exhale, relax the body, observing how the stream of energy, or prana, fills the whole surface of your skin. In your mind, reshape your body and face. Picture yourself with a firm jawline, smooth skin without wrinkles, and a shine in your eyes.

Do these asanas every day. Picture your ideal self vividly, in full detail, with pleasure. And very soon you will notice how much better you look.

Adding good oils, quality protein and plenty of greens to your diet helps amplify the effect. As does accepting the world around you and other people as they are. And, of course, love. It always transforms. So love, be well and be blessed.
